Bringing a bit of Aussie to Edinburgh

I have been craving vegemite for ages, and since none of my mums care packages have arrived (I'm sure that's whats happened mum, you definitely wouldn't have forgotten), I finally went out on a vegemite hunt. The result... £2.99. That's a lot pay for vegemite, but as far as addictions go, it's a lot cheaper and a tonne healthier than a cocaine addiction, so I decided to splurge. Of course the next day I went into Poundland and there on the shelf is my beloved vegemite, only £1 a pop. I quickly stocked up, just in case they decided to change their mind.
When I lived in Australia I used to love these vegemite and cheese scrolls you could find in the supermarket, which apart from the cheese are completely vegan and super simple to make. I made mine without soy cheese since I'm meant to be budgeting (lame), but you could easily add some grated 'cheese' on top of the vegemite and I bet they would taste absolutely amazing.
Also, it's up to you how much vegemite you want to put, same rules apply as with on toast, everyones tastes differ, but I'm a vegemite addict and I needed my fix so I heaped that bad boy on.

Vegemite Scrolls
2 cup plain white flour
1 tbs baking powder
2 tbs margarine
a little soy milk to mix
salt and pepper
vegemite

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and pepper into a bowl.
Add the margarine and mix until it's crumb like. Add the milk, a little bit at a time until it has formed a dough, you can use a blender, but I like to kick it old school, so I kneed the dough for a good 5 of so minutes, then roll out into a flat rectangle about 20cm by 40cm, spread on the vegemite as thick as you like it, generally about how you would have it on toast or a little thicker, now is the time to add grated 'cheese' if you like.
Then roll it up, cut into 2cm size pieces and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes.

Then munch until you're cravings are relieved.
